SSA had a busy start to June.
June 3 was National Range Day. There were 30 participants who attended the Summerland Range to learn about firearms safety and archery. A lot of work went into preparing the range for guests. Thanks to the volunteers who spend many hours weed-whacking and setting up the event.
June 4 was the Kids Fishing Derby at Agur Lake Camp. Though not many fish were caught due to the the hot weather, much fun was had and many enjoyed touring the grounds of Agur Lake Camp.
Thank you to Freshwater Fisheries who not only supplied rods and gear for kids to fish but they also donated 10 rods for prizes!
Thank you to IGA for sponsoring the BBQ. Over $400 was raised for Agur Lake Camp.
Thank you to Brutus Truck Bodies for tables and tents.
Thank you to all volunteers!
